Georell D. Bullock

Lil G

Hey what's up everybody, my name is Georell Bullock, and I just wanted to take a moment and share my story with you. The idea behind Carnage KCR came to me so vividly one night, that I absolutely knew it was something that I was going to do. The idea was to create an organization that loves all things Kansas City: the youth, the business owners, the teachers, the good Samaritans, the fun places, the first responders, all of the hardworking people in this city, and most of all, Kansas City BMX Racing. The Carnage KCR mission is to provide opportunities for the youth and small business owners that support us, so that we all could prosper. Essentially forging team progression while we institute community involvement with local businesses. Thus, birthing the Carnage KCR BMX Racing Team in Kansas City.

During my adolescent days, BMX Racing played a crucial part in my life. BMX taught me things from self-reliance and perseverance to physical and mental toughness. I was also able to see the sacrifices some parents and guardians made to put their kids in the best position possible. I was able to see my parents do that for me as well. We're all different and come from different backgrounds, but in sports that doesn't seem to matter. We're all brothers and sisters pushing to be the best that we can be through training and lot of practice. That is what BMX is all about.

Today, I'm able to apply the skills and knowledge I learned from BMX to my daily life, and it shows in the way I handle myself in pressure situations as well as my drive and passion to be the best version of myself. Whether I'm competing for "Agency of the Year" at my Insurance Agency or when I'm telling my daughter, "You have nothing to fear and you're capable of doing whatever you need to do to be successful (my daughters in dance)." She's really good at it too! When all is said and done, I hope that our team is able to reminisce of the glory days, lessons and life skills learned along the way.
